Roundtable discussion, October 27th, 6 pm, P102
This round-table examines how universities in the Western world can prepare teachers and, by extension, citizens, for a future that prizes evidence, pluralism, and civic responsibility. We frame universities as forums where diverse perspectives are welcomed and tested through critical thinking and robust argumentation rather than populist tactics. Panellists will explore the values that anchor teacher education – academic freedom, intellectual humility, inclusion, and professional ethics.
