  • Bachelor's and Master's Theses

I welcome theses on topics including: world literature, gender studies, feminist literature, contemporary American literature, plantation literature, Caribbean literatures, Hawaiian and Pacific Island literatures, critical race theory, cultural memory, hip hop and protest music, popular culture, and decolonial approaches to language, identity, and representation.

I also encourage projects that explore connections between Czech and Anglophone cultures, such as comparative perspectives on interwar history, migration and memory, German expulsion, or early feminist movements—especially where these topics intersect with literature, translation, or cultural studies.

*Unfortunately, my supervision is at capacity and I am no longer taking on new theses for the 2025/2026 academic year.*
