Professional Resume
Assistant Professor at the English Language Department of Technical University in Liberec, CSc., a member of the Czech Association for the Study of English. He teaches SPELB, LNSNE, PUMNE (PRTA), PAU1/2, KON, and other courses. He has authored several papers on English Phonology, Political Discourse Analysis, and Communicative Linguistics.
Research interests:
Phonetics (intonation analysis, turn-taking in dialogue), pragmatics (communicative strategies and tactics), political discourse analysis (public speaking, politicians' talker identities), ESP methodology
